Manuel Kauers is a German mathematician and computer scientist. He is working on computer algebra and its applications to discrete mathematics. Together with Doron Zeilberger and Christoph Koutschan, He proved two famous open conjectures in combinatorics：Gessel Conjecture and q-TSPP Conjecture. Prof. Kauers has a long-term collaboration with Prof. Ziming Li and Dr. Shaoshi Chen at KLMM. In particular, two PhD students are now co-supervised between RISC-Linz and KLMM by Prof. Kauers and Prof. Li.
