Professor Erich Kaltofen is a research scientist in the Symbolic Computation Groupat NCSU.His research is in symbolic computation and theoretical computer science.In 2009, Prof. Kaltofen was selected an ACM Fellow For contributions to symbolic and algebraic computation, algebraicalgorithms and complexity theory. He has a long-term collaboration with Prof. LihongZhi at KLMM

During his visit to KLMM, he will present a talk in the Computer Mathematics Seminar on his recent work about Essentially Optimal Interactive Certificates in Linear Algebra.
