Computer Mathematics 2013

Fifth National Conference on Computer Mathematics was held in Changchun from August 18 to August 21, 2013. There were more than 130 participants. There were five invited speeches: “A Class of Formulas: ∑-△class” by Lizhi Xu from Dalian University of Science and Technology; “Some Topics on Piecewise Algebraic Sets” by Renhong Wang from Dalian University of Science and Technology; “On the Problem of Global Grid Systems” by Dongxu Qi from Northern University of Industry; “Computational Conformal Geometry: Theory, Algorithm and Applications” by Xianfeng Gu from State University of New York at Stony Brook; and “Schubert Calculus and Cohomologies of Lie Groups” by Haibao Duan from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. There were forty five 20-minute talks and a special session on computer.
